SOCIAL: Golden Gate Park NEEDS YOU

Deep,
	I'm as in favor of a Saturday GG Park vehicle ban as much as the
next SF liberal, but as I remember the Saturday vehicle ban has been
recently rejected by the voters at least once, and I think twice.  Are we
just throwing the same proposition against the wall over and over in hopes
that one day it'll stick?  At some point you either believe in the
democratic process or you don't.  The voters had their say on this issue and
they said "no" by a comfortable margin.
	Now if the latest proposed Saturday vehicle ban has been
substantially revamped to address earlier concerns then it might merit a
revote. But if it's the same plan as before I think a revote is useless and
in fact counterproductive as efforts could be better spent elsewhere.
