SOCIAL: Volunteer this weekend -Sunday Dec. 10

Kids Enjoy Exercise Now (KEEN) is a non-profit, volunteer organization that provides free, one-to-one recreational opportunities for children and young adults with mental and physical disabilities.  The young people who participate in KEEN have disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and various developmental and intellectual disabilities. I helped start the San Francisco chapter of KEEN and I'm now on their board.

We're looking for a few more volunteers for this Sunday's recreational session at the Embarcadero YMCA.  Each volunteer is paired with a young athlete to participate in various adaptive activities.  
 
No previous experience working with people with disabilities is required; training will be provided at 1:00 on Sunday.

KEEN's activities take place at the Embarcadero YMCA in downtown San Francisco on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.  Street parking is available, and the Embarcadero Y is easily accessible via BART and Muni.
