SOCIAL: Contractor Recommendation?

Folks -
  It's high time I did some upgrading to my apartment, can anyone 
recommend any contractors?  The general plan is to overhaul my bathroom 
and kitchen (re-tile, knock out wall, etc.) and improve the insulation 
and soundproofing for the main living areas.   There also seems to be a 
bit of dry rot and cracked plaster that should be taken care of.  The 
main goal for now is to try to assess how much this is all going to 
cost; unfortunately, money IS an object.
