Cindy Sheehan, as you may have heard, is the Vacaville woman whose son 
died in Iraq.  She decided to camp out near Bush's ranch in Texas and 
demand that he speak with her and explain what exactly her son died 
for.  Bush never had the balls to meet with her, but it didn't really 
matter.  Cindy almost single-handedly restarted the anti-war movement.  
It will all get lost in the fog of history, but after Cindy took her 
stand, more and more people started to express their misgivings about 
Iraq.  It suddenly, finally, became "ok" to say, "Hey, this situation is 
pretty screwed up, and why exactly are we letting our boys die over there?".

Last night Cindy was invited to the State of the Union Address by a 
Democratic Congressman.  But after sitting down, she was arrested and 
hauled off to jail for no reason that makes any sense.

Cindy is one of those rare people who will never stop fighting.  She's 
putting her life and liberty on the line for the lives and liberties of 
the rest of us.  Maybe we should get behind her in whatever small way we 
can.
