SOCIAL: 10 years = san franciscan?

So 10 years ago this date, I was landing in San Francisco. I was
writing down some of the things I've done since I arrived and one can
fit a lot into 10 years: New career, wife, politics, booms. busts,
art, photography, teaching, writing, protests, biking, sushi,
drinking, and a whole lot of rambling...
So I have 2 questions for you all:
1) Am I always going to say, I live in San Francisco, but I'm from
Michigan (whereby if I meet someone from Michigan I have to be
embarrassed that I have no idea how the Wolverines are doing)? Or is
10 years enough? Can I say I'm from San Francisco? If not, when?
2) If you were me, what would you do (did you do) to celebrate? ride
a cable car? go to Alcatraz (I've never been after all)? eat in
Chinatown? attend (throw) a custom party? get as many people to come
to the SFLCV "I love san francisco" party-fundraiser that i can (mar
20 don't forget!)? post something on craigslist? all of the above?
Anyway, throw your answers my way, and I can compile them (if you are
at all interested).
It's a pleasure living here with you all,
:-)
Adrian
