I LOVE SAN FRANCISCO: Celebrating our Urban Environment
a fundraiser for the San Francisco League of Conservation Voters


The San Francisco League of Conservation Voters is sponsoring an ART  
CONTEST for our March 20th Fundraiser at 111 Minna. Enter our "San  
Francisco The Beautiful" Contest and you could win an iPod! Art of  
any medium that represents what you love about San Francisco's urban  
environment can be entered to win an iPod Nano!

Examples include (but aren't limited to) short stories, poems,  
photographs or videos.

TO ENTER YOU MUST INFORM US OF YOUR INTENT BY FRIDAY MARCH 10th.  
Actual entries are due on Wednesday March 15th. See details below.

CONTEST RULES:
The grand prize is an iPod Nano (4GB) from Apple Computer
There may or may not be a second / third place prize depending on the  
number of entries
Any artistic creation of any medium may be entered (i.e. short story,  
poem, photograph, video, etc) that represents what the artist loves  
about San Francisco's urban environment
No limits on number of entries.
Contest rules can be changed at any time.
Contest entrants must inform Amandeep Jawa of intent to enter contest  
by 5PM on Friday 3/10/06 by email or phone message. Name, phone  
number, email address, and a brief description of the entry will be  
required. (deep at sflcv.org / 415 255 6257)
Contest entries must be physically/electronically submitted to  
Amandeep Jawa by Wednesday March 15th at 11:59 pm (937 Valencia St,  
SF CA 94110) unless special permission is obtained from Amandeep Jawa.
All works submitted will remain the property of the submitter, but  
permission will be given to display/present the work at our Fundraiser.
Contest may be cancelled if there are not enough entries. The final  
decision will be made on Saturday 3/11/06 & all entrants will be  
informed.
Entries will be judged by a small group from the SFLCV Board. If  
SFLCV Board members decide to enter, the judges will be chosen from  
other environmental groups in SF (Sierra Club, SF Bike Coalition, etc)
