It depends on when you want to go.  Sometimes travel agents have
access to consolidator tickets that you can't otherwise get.  If you
are looking at more than 4 months out, usually prices get a little
better closer to the date that you want to fly.  If you are looking at
Christmas it might be tough to get a good deal.
