The dump, aka SF Recycling and Disposal, also has a special place for electronics. http://www.sunsetscavenger.com/universalwaste.htm

The first 30 items/month are free and after that its something like $1.50/piece. I think if you have large items you can arrange for them to pick it up.

Tom, we are going to make a run for some of our stuff soon - so we could take yours.
