SOCIAL: hooking mac mini to tv

Ok, I am somewhat of a ludite in the social circle,
but does anyone know if you can hook up a mac mini to
your  tv somehow ... I rarelly watch movies and the
times I do I dont' mind dragging a cord over from my
computer.  Is it possible
