The SF Municipal Transportation Agency is extending a special
invitation to selected transportation geeks that I took the liberty of
extending to this list because, well, I thought you might like it.
It's an invitation to attend a reception and participate in the Muni
Trial Group for TransLink. TransLink is the new, easy way to pay for
travel on transit systems throughout the Bay Area. I have one which I
use on Muni now and then, and it seems to work great. It's especially
useful when I use the Golden Gate Ferry because the discount is steep:
37% on the Larkspur ferry and 46% on the Sausalito ferry.

You can get a free TransLink card and help Muni perfect TransLink
before its rollout to the general public. Hors d'oeuvres will be served.

You must RSVP immediately (sorry for the late notice) by Wednesday,
December 3, to TransLinkRSVP at sfmta.com

The details are below:

Wednews, December 10, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Presentation at 5:30
1 South Van Ness, 2nd floor Atrium

If you can't attend but still want to participate in the trial
program, go online and register for your card at translink.org/muni.
