SOCIAL: Goodbye Self Respect, Hello "10, 000 BC" (Thursday night show)

Friends -

It is with the deep sadness that can only come from losing one's self- 
respect that I'm informing you that I need to go see "10,000 BC". <sigh>

Rolland Emmerich's previous movies, "Independence Day"  & "The Day  
After Tomorrow", were at their best moments "mindless", and at there  
worst "insulting".  But they mostly spent time in "hackneyed" and  
"drek." Yet no matter how bad a film, enough computer generated  
megafauna will always supersede my sense of intellectual dignity:

1) Mammoths
3) Saber Tooth Cats
4) Terror Birds

And while this will get me & Adrian through the door, the above combo  
plus "Steven Strait in a loincloth" drags Tom with us (at least his  
reasons have hormonal dignity.)

We're probably going Thursday night, though we haven't decided which  
show.

Anyone willing to debase themselves with us, let me know.
