THREE SEPARATE ROOMS, AVAILABLE DECEMBER 15th

Hello. We love our home and know that you will love living here too. Our
upper floor flat has nice, dark hardwood floors in good shape and tasteful
paint colors of a different variety in every room (terracotta in the
kitchen, sea blue in the bathroom, whiskey tavern tan/army green in the
living room). And the garden! We are so blessed to have a two-terrace
vegetable and herb garden that is currently producing: chard, spinach,
arugula, kale, quinoa(!), rosemary, lavender, beets, and lettuce. Both of us
have or have had nursery/gardening jobs so we like to keep the garden really
groovy. Also we would welcome anyone who wants to put any energy into the
garden. Vive il giardino!

The building is a beautiful Victorian on 17th Street in the Castro/Eureka
Valley that has 3 stories (one basement and two 4-bedroom flats). There are
sweet neighbors on all sides but we hardly ever lay eyes on them. And no one
lives downstairs so we can be as loud as we want on the hardwood floors.

We love to cook, make various arts, and just relax in the home. We are
always up for a beer and a chat; we cook meat and fish sometimes, but not
too much, and are generally just sweet and soulful women in our early 30's
making the world a better place.

Room #1 is super gorgeous and has wrap-around bay windows and gets tons of
all-day light. It has a sweet view of the Castro/Eureka Valley. It also has
a standard-sized closet. This one is $825. Room #2 has a garden view and 2
big windows, and gets beams of afternoon light. This room is quieter as it
is off to the back of the flat. Also it has a humongous closet. This room is
$810. Room #3 is similar to room #2, and has a garden view and a slightly
smaller closet than room #2. This room is $800. All rooms have lovely
hardwood floors.

Roomie 1: I teach gardening, cooking, and science to elementary school
students as a garden educator, and spend most of my working hours educating
kids and growing new green citizens in an outdoor classroom. I also have a
small web design business and help small businesses with their first
websites. As a roommate, I am quite mellow, very respectful, and fun. I am
clean and like to keep clear counter space, not leave dirty dishes, etc. I
do like to cook, and love herbs and spices. In a home, I value a positive,
sweet living environment, of course mutual respect, and direct
communication. I am very flexible and community-oriented, and am social but
also love to retreat to my sacred space at times and do stuff…art, digital
art, music, etc. After hours, I like to occasionally catch a good music or
dance show, and also I love movies, music of the folk/women's/pop types, and
do quite a lot of dance (salsa, hip hop, different cultural dances, etc),
casual 80's costume tennis with friends, and yoga. (If you do yoga, the
Castro Yoga Tree…called Yoga Flow…is a few blocks away and a really nice big
space).

Roomie 2: I am an entrepreneur and have my hands in all sorts of things -
fashion design, yoga, Ayurveda, and acai berry juice, to name a few. I love
the sacred and Divine and love people. I believe that we are all connected
and are here to help each other along our Paths of remembering who we really
truly are...! Other interests include: being super healthy, connected to our
Mother Earth, getting my hands in the dirt, growing my own food, cooking and
enjoying food with my loved ones, meditating, chanting, Durga Ma, writing,
painting, reading, taking baths, tennis a la silly outfits, hiking, camping,
just chilling out underneath the stars, all forms of dance. I just returned
from a Sabbatical in India and as part of the deal will lather you with
Ayurvedic consultations, spa treatments and private yoga!

We are open to a sublet of 2 months or more, but especially are excited
about bringing in someone who wants to stick around. Parking is really,
really easy and a block up the hill, where the zoned parking ends and you
can park freely. (There is once a week street cleaning).

Included in the rent is a house cleaner, twice a month.

Utilities of wireless DSL, PG&E, water and garbage come to about $30 a month
per person, (varying by the month).

We are visualizing a kitten into our lives.
