SOCIAL: hip hop anyone?

I figure that Deep is tired after all the obama-ing, but I just remembered that this is coming up and usually sells out - so for whoever else is interested - let's bust a move and go to teh SF Hip Hop Dance Festival!  It was uber-great last year - Dorothy and toto head spinning was off the hook - and even for those of you who a) don't know what hip hop is b) do know but think you may not like it...aaawww come out and try - its this great, interesting, fun, new, groovy dancing that is in 2 simple words - "feel good" dancing.  I was inspired.

Deep usually cruise directs and picks up a pack of tickets - so I'll let him do that part when he comes up for air, but if you know you want a ticket - ping me this weekend, as I'll probably buy some by Sunday night.

And for any of those interested - I usually give money so some young kids who can't afford to can get some free tickets - so even if you don't wanna go, but you wanna help someone else go - you can do that too!

* i'm starting to wonder when my new-presidentitis is going to wear off - I mean I've woken up everyday since the election just thinkin "this is great! he really rocks!" I wonder if this president is going to really be different because maybe even during his presidency - I'll see an image or read and article and feel this strange mixture of affection and pride in my country, our people, our leader...I don't nkow what that'll be like, but man - I hope this feeling lasts through his terms!
