Thanks, Tom. I had relaxed on Prop 8 figuring that Californians
wouldn't want to amend the Constitution to mandate bigotry. That might
be wrong. I already donated a little bit in honor of Jeff's wedding,
but I'll do so again.
There are also local races which are key. And, if you're like me, I
like to combine partying with donating, so consider come to this party
to support one of the best candidates for Supervisor I know: John
Avalos.

Dave
I have stopped worrying about the Presidential race (Obama should send
a thank-you note to Lehman Bros. Chairman Richard Fuld if he gets
elected).
I have started worrying about Measure 8 winning in California.
proponents have raised over $25 million, and recent polls are all over
the place:
"...likely California voters overall now favor passage of Proposition
8 by a five-point margin, 47 percent to 42 percent. Ironically, a CBS
5 poll eleven days prior found a five-point margin in favor of the
measure's opponents."
