SOCIAL: I just donated $50 to the No on 8 campaign

I've somehow ended up on the "major donor" listserve for EQCA and the  
campaign. I don't feel very "major" compared to folks like Brad Pitt,  
who gave $100,000, but whatever...
 From what I have read, they are technically two distinct  
organizations. However, they do virtually nothing independently. They  
both do media buys, they both organize people on the ground, they both  
deal with the press. So whichever organization you give your money to,  
its going to go towards fighting prop 8 today.
In theory, if somehow your donation got received after the election,  
No on 8 would have very few choices about what to do with it, while  
EQCA would put it to use for the next battle.
