SOCIAL: Ideas for working for No on Prop 8

Overall, in this 2 years of federal election campaign time, Adrian and I
have probably given $1,500 in in-kind travel, copying and money to Obama and
other dem orgs. I will be glad when this is all over. (Adrian, don't
think about it too much... it's better that way)

It's been sad reading more pleas for money bc I am feeling pretty tapped
out. However, I realized I can donate one last thing -- and that is a
friend that I am "sponsoring" at my house before the election so that he can
work here on No on 8 stuff. John is a former Sierra Club organizer who is
in btw. jobs right now while he pursues some medical treatment. I am
wondering if you all know of the right office, person, which one of the
various no on 8 efforts he should be part of while he is here - he can work
essentially full time - has organized Sierra Club work ballot initiatives
before in CO, etc.

WHile I know there are various office locations, etc., I was wondering WHICH
of them is best and if anyone has a name or person that is doing work now
that can plug him in.

I am just tired of the right winning on this issue - they reserve their
worst tactics to use this to divide and scare people and deny a basic
freedom and it's wrong.

cheers.
