Hey folks,

so this year I am in town, not traveling, not working as much and for some
reason, very much interested in being holiday esque... I usually go to
these things and then think -- hmnm.. I should have seen if anyone else was
interested. So here it is.... because you never know who might have a
hidden urge to do express their inner chimney sweep or Clara... and here you
could do Clara wearing a tutut and and a cowboy hat as well...

I won free tickets to Dickens Fair and hope to go next Saturday with
Adrian. My cousin is good friends with some folks who do Dickens Fair and
I have heard that there is a great version of the Mikado performed this
year. One year I did up my hair a la little women... it was fun. I have
no time preference as of now...

here is more info:

http://www.dickensfair.com/ Tickets are $19

Also, was thinking of going to the Dance A Long Nutcracker, described as
follows:

Howdy, Pardners! Saddle up your hobby horses and pull on your spurs, as the
San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band takes you on a raucous romp through
the Wild West!

This year's show mixes Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker with that staple of
Hollywood Americana, the Western picture show. When the audience takes to
the dance floor, they'll follow Clara and her Nutcracker into the dust-caked
streets of Tombstone, through the swinging doors of the saloon hall and past
the cactuses lining its canyon trails. This year, don't be surprised if the
musicians are costumed like cowboys, Mexican villagers or dancehall girls,
or if that masked "man," the Lone Ranger, is conducting Band!

Bring the kids to a daytime show or treat yourself to the Dance-Along's
Opening Night Gala, and you'll enjoy one of San Francisco's wackiest holiday
traditions. Even wallflowers love it!
I hope to go to the 11 am show on Sunday, 12/13 at Yerba Buena Center -
tickets are $25

cheers.
