'Deep's Birthday GLAM OF THE DEAD PARTY

My 40th Birthday GLAM party on Saturday 2/28/2009 from 9PM to 2AM at  
Bollyhood Café

As the Wikipedia says "Many people believe that during the Day of the  
Dead, it is easier for the souls of the departed to visit the living."  
And what could be more appropriate for my 40th Birthday? Now that I'm  
officially dead, the best way for me to visit with you would be my Day  
of the Dead Party!

THAT'S RIGHT - its my 40th Birthday Bash & YOU and ALL of YOUR FRIENDS  
are invited - but make sure they are ready to dance & ready to be  
GLAM.....

The theme is GLAM (see below) meets Day of the Dead - so bring your  
sparkly, bring your bright and bring your skulls and marigolds....  
Don't bother to show up unless you're GLAM or Day of The Dead or some  
combo of the two :-) Ok, Ok, if you don't want to be GLAM, fine, COME  
ANYWAY - but there will be PLENTY of glamsters around & we may mock  
you. And I'll definitely look at you askance. For those of you who  
sadly need excuses to be shiny this is as good as it gets.

This party is going to be huge & if it is half as much fun as the last  
few, it will be fantabulous! As always, my parties are the more the  
merrier, so COME ON OVER & BRING FRIENDS. The last one was too big for  
my house, so we've moved it down the street to Bollyhood Cafe....

I'll be DJing most of the night, but I may also see if some of my  
other favorite DJs will be able to spin....

DIRECTIONS: Bollyhood Cafe is in central 'Deepistan, 2 blocks from my  
house. (http://tinyurl.com/agj54e)
• don't drive if you can all help it!. There will be little parking in  
'Deepistan & why pollute anyhow? There are plenty of transit options.
• all the Mission buses are close 16th & 24thst BART ARE EASY
• If there are East Bay people who need to go home after 12:30 or so  
(approx time of the last BART train) you're welcome to spend the night  
or if there are enough of you I'll grab a carshare car & get you  
home.... there will probably be a couple of east bay folks who can  
take you home too - just let me know if you can provide a ride or need  
a ride.

What is a GLAM Party?

Adam Ant & Glam Metal In the 80's & Dee-Lite in the '90s & ME in  
00's :-) Think shiny, glittery, sparkly, bright!
