SOCIAL: anyone got an extra computer

a friend of mine is looking for a donated computer. Sounds like a good  
cause.

Subject: Any extra computers to donate to a family in the East Bay?

Hi all,

Sorry to send out this in a mass mailing. But, I wanted to cast the  
'ask' wide - in case anyone had an extra or older computer they'd be  
willing to donate (or sell for a low price) to a single mom and her  
two kids. Or, perhaps you know of an organization that might assist  
with this?

This mom that I am referring to is a good acquaintance of mine, as she  
teaches my Monday/Tuesday night cycling classes at the gym - she is a  
hardworker and has never missed teaching a class since I've been a  
member. She is a single mom and lives here in the East Bay with her  
two boys - who have been walking/biking to the public library a few  
times a week to get access to a computer.

Any leads would be appreciated!
