SOCIAL: Amateur question about fonts

Hey socialites,
I'm trying to get some fonts, specifically Univers: 75 black and 55  
Roman.

I was wondering what the best legal means is to get these fonts?  Is  
it cheaper to buy a dvd of fonts? Should I download it online at a  
particular website?  Is one website's Univers 75 black the same as  
anothers?

  I remember fonts being really expensive in the 80's, but now I see  
dvd's loaded with a gazillion fonts (which probably were not very  
popular) for 20 dollars at random stores.  Are these the same things?   
A quick search yielded  these two fonts at fonts.com for about 30  
dollars each.  Is this the going rate?

I'm sure my question is heresy to a lot of people in the design  
business, because like many "outsiders" I probably do not truly  
appreciate the work that goes into the product.

Any advice would help!
