SOCIAL: GIS

[Tom Radulovich]

I have an intern who will be working with us this summer who has GIS  
skills, and will be doing some GIS projects. Can anyone recommend GIS  
software? Ideally it would be for a Mac, but I understand that Mac  
options are limited, so PC software is acceptable.
