1. Wordpress is great and my favorite blogging tool at this point.
There are other choices, but if you think it works for you - stick to
it.
2. I don't have direct experience, but you might want to check out
various non profit tech sites for articles: NTEN is one. Could
probably find plenty of articles just by googling.
