SOCIAL: optometrist?

Avoid City Optix.  The optometrist was fine, but the service for the  
glasses there stinks.  They are one of the most expensive optical  
stores in the city, but their service is worse than going to Costco  
(really, really bad -- they never do what they tell you they will do,  
AND they're late, AND they call you and tell you that the lenses you  
bought were actually not what you were told they were, but are  
actually several hundred dollars more expensive)

I've had GREAT experience with Dr. King at Pacific Eye Associates on  
Clay and Webster St.
He's very, very patient, funny, and he had me come back for a  
refitting when my contacts seemed a bit weak.
