SOCIAL: two new stories in Sunpluggers: Prop 16 and Community Choice programs

Hi everyone,

 

Sunpluggers.com just published two stories I wrote that are very relevant to
Tuesday's election. The first is about Proposition 16; the second is about
community choice aggregation (CCA) -- a type of community
wholesale-elctricity buying plan. SF has just formed a CCA called
CleanPowerSF and will start serving the city pretty soon if all goes as
planned.

I actually wrote much longer versions of both these stories, after
researching for almost a month, but they had to be cut by about half to be
picked up by the Google news feed. If anyone would like the complete version
(I think there is a lot of important information that didn't make it into
the published versions) of either or both, let me know and I will send it to
you.
