<div>I volunteer for a great organization called Girls on the Run San Francisco and we have an upcoming Lollipop Run on Dec. 6th. This organization is a running program for 3rd -5th grade girls here in the Bay Area that not only encourages exercise, but builds social skills and confidence. It is one of the most organized programs I have ever volunteered for and it is such a rewarding experience to see these girls cross the finish line for their first 1 mile or 5k run. For a bit more information on the organization: <a href="http://www.gotrbayarea.org/about/index.asp">http://www.gotrbayarea.org/about/index.asp</a></div>

<div>You can help by:</div>
<div> </div>
<div>1. Becoming a Running Buddy if you like to run: <a href="http://www.gotrbayarea.org/volunteer/buddy.asp">http://www.gotrbayarea.org/volunteer/buddy.asp</a></div>
<div>Your $35 run fee offsets the cost of the girl you run the course with as many of the girls in this program are on scholarship.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>2. Volunteer on Race Day: <a href="http://www.gotrbayarea.org/volunteer/raceday.asp">http://www.gotrbayarea.org/volunteer/raceday.asp</a></div>
<div>This run has over 500+ participants and it takes many volunteers to cheer on runners and make this event happen. If you happen to work for a company that does community projects we would love to have you and your co-workers join us! If you have a contact at your company please email me their contact information and I will pass it along.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>3. Come run and bring your friends, family, neighbors, dogs etc.: <a href="http://www.gotrbayarea.org/programs/lollipop/lollipop_reg1.asp">http://www.gotrbayarea.org/programs/lollipop/lollipop_reg1.asp</a></div>
