What a thread!

It's funny though because basically it sounds like AT&T v. Sprint. As for coverage - especially if you live in the Mission - AT&T f**king sucks. Like, a lot. I live at 14th & Guerrero and there is (literally) a 4' x 4' square patch in my living room from which I can make calls. And even there it's sketchy. I had an iPhone (3 of them) and miss them dearly but they're not insureable under AT&T's coverage so after breaking my 3rd one, I opted for the Crackberry Bold. DON'T GET A BOLD!!! It's quite possibly the shittiest smartphone ever. And that's coming from someone who owned a first generation Samsung Blackjack.

My understanding was that - at least back in the day - T-Mobile simply leased AT&T's network. So it should be the same coverage. Has that changed? I believe CREDO is an mvno off the Spring network. That said, I've no idea about Sprint.

Good luck (and don't get a Bold)!

greg/viva

On Jul 27, 2009, at 4:22 PM, palak joshi wrote:

yes i like iphone.
BUT
they should give us video and flash. i know they give it in 3gs but why not in my old iphone which i paid money for? hmph!
i dont like to text or reply to emails on iphone - my fingers hurt! its strange its a virtual keyboard and it should not hurt at all..becuase u are not supposed to press too hard! its a wierd kind of stress that you feel when u try to type!
i drop my iphone all the time - now they have nice covers for people like me. a rep once dropped a phone to show me how sturdy his cover is !!!
if it was slightly bigger it would not fit in my hand but its just the right size
attt did not drop my calls earlier so i would think its the iphone that does it. i am used to it now and so are other people :)
it has very good picture resolution
it has an inbuilt nice ipod
the map is very useful
i love the voice recorder and record all my music lessons and anyone who sings or says funny and nice things!
its a nice screen size
it lets you facebook easily if u are into it

Its also a good looking piece of machine.

On Mon, Jul 27, 2009 at 3:59 PM, Alexandra Longsworth <alongsworth@gmail.com> wrote:
Hi Sunny,

I have to weigh in for the iphone - I've never had coverage issues, and I'm really happy with the interface; I check email all the time, and it's seamless.

Best,

Alexandra Longsworth

_______________________________________________
Social mailing list
Social@lists.deeptrouble.com
http://lists.deeptrouble.com/listinfo.cgi/social-deeptrouble.com

_______________________________________________
Social mailing list
Social@lists.deeptrouble.com
http://lists.deeptrouble.com/listinfo.cgi/social-deeptrouble.com

_______________________________________________
Social mailing list
Social@lists.deeptrouble.com
http://lists.deeptrouble.com/listinfo.cgi/social-deeptrouble.com

_______________________________________________
Social mailing list
Social@lists.deeptrouble.com
http://lists.deeptrouble.com/listinfo.cgi/social-deeptrouble.com

_______________________________________________
Social mailing list
Social@lists.deeptrouble.com
http://lists.deeptrouble.com/listinfo.cgi/social-deeptrouble.com

--
“To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you like everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.”
–E.E.
