<div>After seeing an orthopedic doctor yesterday it appears I may have a meniscus tear in my left knee and she recommends surgery (after confirmation of a tear with an MRI).</div>
<div>Have any of you had this problem? Did you get surgery? Do you recommend surgery? Do you know of any other options for a meniscus tear besides surgery? If any of you have had the surgery how was the recovery time? How long did you have to stop doing regular activity or exercising? </div>

<div>Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to gather information and educate myself before I make any decisions. Any advice or information would be appreciated.</div>
