Hi Ankur,

I recommend Philz Coffee (24th & Folsom).

They not only make the best drip coffee in the city (ask for mint leaves), they have a wide selection of special blends, both dark and light. One of their blends is called "Mocha Tesoro" which I believe has chocolate, so that might be a good choice.Their coffee is always fresh and they'll grind the coffee for your press pot.

For making mocha's I add Dagoba's "Xocolatl" (hot chocolate with chilies and cinnamon), which gives a nice not too spicy kick to the mocha.

Happy Coffee !

Alexandra

I recently bought a French Press and have been enjoying decaf mochas, but I might be ready to take it up a notch. I was wondering if you guys could recommend your favorite coffee to me (for making caffeinated mochas, for instance), and where the best place to buy them is (where they would "coarse grind" it for me, as well).

What do you think? Blue Bottle coffee? Ritual Roasters? Illy? Other?

Looking forward to your collective wisdom, as always!
