One of their blends is called "Mocha Tesoro" which I believe has chocolate, so that might be a good choice.Their coffee is always fresh and they'll grind the coffee for your press pot.

For making mocha's I add Dagoba's "Xocolatl" (hot chocolate with chilies and cinnamon), which gives a nice not too spicy kick to the mocha.

Happy Coffee !

Alexandra

I recently bought a French Press and have been enjoying decaf mochas, but I might be ready to take it up a notch. I was wondering if you guys could recommend your favorite coffee to me (for making caffeinated mochas, for instance), and where the best place to buy them is (where they would "coarse grind" it for me, as well).

He has a $600 Italian espresso machine and makes the most incredible cappuccinos every day.

For a while, he was buying beans from Four Barrel on Valencia. Before they were roasting their own, they sold a variety called "Hairbender" that was being sent down from Stumptown Coffee in Portland, OR (arguably one of the top three roasters in the country). He was not a fan of their own espresso roast, and he is definitely not a fan of Ritual, Four Barrel, Philz or any of the others that SFiscans might regard as being highest local quality.

Now, he only buys Major Dickason's blend from Peet's. It's the only other bean in town that meets his exacting standards for smoothness and flavor. It's not specifically an espresso blend, so it works for drip coffee, french press, whatever.

And the best part is, there are Peet's everywhere.

Allison

On Thu, Oct 1, 2009 at 11:03 AM, Ankur <ankurwow@yahoo.com> wrote:
