Jeff Byers

Jeff Byers began telling stories the first time his mother caught him with his hand in the cookie jar. Now he tells traditional and personal stories to children and adults at the  Asian  Art Museum in  San Francisco and in various venues for the Stagebridge Theater Company in  Oakland . He has appeared at the San Francisco Theater Festival, the Chicago Calling Arts Festival, and Tell It On Tuesday at the  Julia  Morgan  Center for the Arts in  Berkeley . He has been featured teller at  San Francisco ’s First Sunday Stories and Contra Costa Tale Spinners. He is a member of the board of the Storytelling Association of Alta
 California.
Norman Eisley

Norman Eisley, a resident of  Santa Rosa , hasn’t told a story in his life. Fluent in a number of languages, including Chinese, he has traveled to the farthest reaches of the world and mastered a wide range of arts and sciences. He keeps telling people the truth…but isn’t sure anyone believes him.

Kate Frankel

Kate Frankel was born in the Year of the Tiger.   As a librarian in  Berkeley elemetary schools, she spent near 20 years taming the wild life -- the students -  with her stories ..   and then nearly another 20 spreading her stories  and writing about stories,  more
widely,   for  audiences  of all ages.

Ruth Fraser

Born into a household rich in language, literature and oral history is it any wonder Ruth Fraser became a storyteller! For 12 years she has told stories of wit and wisdom from her own adventurous life and from around the world, sharing them in gatherings large and small, including parties, conferences and the  Asian  Art Museum . Offering workshops and coaching she shows others that they too have
stories to give to the world.

Liz Nichold

Liz Nichols got lost in the 398 (Folklore & Mythology) section of the public library at age ten and hasn't found her way out yet. As the Storytelling Director of  Oakland 's Stagebridge, the nation's oldest senior theater company, she teaches and plans storytelling programs in local schools, senior centers, and public events.
