SOCIAL: Yet ANOTHER appeal for donations?!?

Yeah, yeah, I know.  It's been a brutal campaign already.  We've given money
to every candidate that asks.  But how many of them are named after a
wonderful childhood icon?  I mean, how fun is that?!?

Many of you know that I've been involved with Charlie Brown's campaign since
2006 when he ran for Congress for the first time.  He is running again for
Congress in district 4, a HUGE district that stretches from outside of
Sacto, east to Tahoe, and north to the border (think about all those
backpacking trips in the Sierra).  It is a district that has been in the
grip of Republican John Doolittle (aptly named and currently indicted for
corruption) for 17 years, and Charlie has a very good chance of winning!

He is an inspiring candidate who has the same optimism and integrity that
Obama projects.   His wife Jan is really amazing as well.  For those
kayakers and whitewater lovers, he is opposed to the Auburn dam while his
former opponent Doolittle and his current opponent McClintock are huge
Dam-Boosters (Vote for a Dam-Buster, not a Dam-Booster!)

Well...if you met him, you'd DEFINITELY want to give money, but there might
not be time for that.  So....since there's only 2 weeks left to change the
world.....
