SOCIAL: Looking for Volunteers and/or Runners - Dec. 6th

I volunteer for a great organization called Girls on the Run San Francisco
and we have an upcoming Lollipop Run on Dec. 6th.  This organization is a
running program for 3rd -5th grade girls here in the Bay Area that not only
encourages exercise, but builds social skills and confidence.  It is one of
the most organized programs I have ever volunteered for and it is such a
rewarding experience to see these girls cross the finish line for their
first 1 mile or 5k run.  For a bit more information on the organization:

You can help by:

1. Becoming a Running Buddy if you like to run:

Your $35 run fee offsets the cost of the girl you run the course with as
many of the girls in this program are on scholarship.

2. Volunteer on Race Day: http://www.gotrbayarea.org/volunteer/raceday.asp
This run has over 500+ participants and it takes many volunteers to cheer on
runners and make this event happen.  If you happen to work for a company
that does community projects we would love to have you and your co-workers
join us!  If you have a contact at your company please email me their
contact information and I will pass it along.

3. Come run and bring your friends, family, neighbors, dogs etc.:
