 Hey friends - Join me, Lauren and a few others for a little picnic in the
park on Sunday.



*Where:*  Delores Park (North-easternish corner of the park. Call me if you
can't find (510) 386-3695 or in case we move)

*When:* 1-5pm, Sunday Oct. 26

*Wha*t: Hanging with like-minded people

*Why:* For fun (and to make some phone calls)



Ok, it's mainly for fun but with a tiny bit of work...



Mixing play and work in election season makes for a *happy you*!  For one
sunny afternoon of fun, you can be part of a team making sure that no one
steals this election.  (I'll supply goodies.)



I'm working as a coordinator for Video the Vote, a national team of
volunteer videographers who will be "on-call" on Election Day to video
problems as they occur.



We have 2500 volunteers and growing quickly!  Growing so quickly that I need
to place 150 volunteer "dispatchers" in 25 cities across the country to make
sure videographers go to the right places.



The folks you'll be calling are already interested in helping on Election
Day.  They will be *glad you called! * They have volunteered to be placed,
we just need to place them.



Come as long or as little as you like.  Make no calls or make 30.



Please let me know if you can make it.   I will give you a super big hug
(just what you wanted).  Thank you.  Thank you.  Thank you.  (Bring kids if
you got 'em!). There will be fun smiley, people there like yourself!  Please
invite others!
