SOCIAL: Netflix vs Mac

One more question.  I tried to play a dvd on my old mac Mini - like from 2005.  I thought I had done this before, but this time it would not work ... would not recognize the disk.  Is this just a problem with my machine or is there some issue with net flix and mac.
