SOCIAL: Anyone using Comcast Digital Cable or ATT U-Verse in SF?

Hi Deep (and Social),
Quality aside, folks should know that Comcast as a cable provider
has the legal right to monitor what you are downloading. If you use
bitorrent, they are allowed to reduce your bandwidth and may also send
you a threatening letter telling you to stop. If you use DSL, you
still have the legal protections that any phone line has (i.e. they
can't monitor your phone use without getting a warrant). This is a
big legal issue at the moment and something that the FCC is
considering further.
  Best,
Lisa

But I'd rather ask you, my peeps.... In particular, anyone using these in SF? How's it doin' fer ya?
