Meet the new Hotness!

I'm very excited to pass on this news - the new super awesome San Francisco bike company PUBLIC Bikes has launched, and one of SOCIAL's own, Dan Nguyen-Tan is a major part of the effort over there.  I met PUBLIC's founder, Rob Forbes*, a few years back & he, Dan and Adrian sat down and Rob told us about his vision of high quality, simple, beautiful bikes for everyone - not just the spandex crowd or the fixie crowd.  We were all pretty excited & Dan in particular joined up.  Well the PUBLIC Bikes company is fully up and running (you can visit them in South Park and take a test ride), the bikes are FANTASTIC (they ride like butter!) & I couldn't recommend them more highly.  Quality biking for everyone.  Love it!

We're live. 
Please check out our new site, ready for online ordering.  Our bikes are the core of our business, but we have about 100 other products designed for having some style and some fun on the city streets. There is also a blog and upcoming events and a lot more to come. We’re also set up to take phone calls and email questions if you need extra assistance. And we love feedback (seriously).

Ride with us in New York this Sunday.  
Join us on May 16th at 5:30pm for Design Ride Manhattan as we celebrate the launch of PUBLIC and New York's biking culture and civic leadership in creating biking infrastructure throughout the city. We'll ride from ICFF at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center to a reception at the Tretorn Store on Spring Street in SoHo.  Find out more details and RSVP.

We’re set up for test rides now in our South Park studio in San Francisco. Just make an appointment. And you’ll be able to test ride at the Tretorn store in NYC after May 16th. How much fun is that?
