SOCIAL: Room for rent July 1, Mission

Hi Social,

Our short-term housemate is leaving at the end of June, and we want to start
looking early! Updated info is below. Pix available on request.

Important details:
* Available July 1.
* Room has a queen size bed.
* We have TWO cats.
* I work from home and am looking for someone who works outside the home.

About the room:

12' x 12' with one east-facing window (lots of light in the morning), a
built in closet, and a very comfortable queen-sized bed.

About the apartment:

Fully furnished, top floor, sunny flat built circa 1880. 1400 sq ft; 3
bedroom, 1 bathroom; comfortable living room; spacious kitchen. All-in-one
washer/dryer; dishwasher; gas stove; housecleaner every other week; basement
storage; garden access; street parking, and public garage 1 block away.
Close to BART and several Muni lines (J Church, 14, 49). Rent is $800 per
month plus PG&E (~$15-40), DSL/wireless network ($17) and housecleaning
($40-60). First and last months' rent and $500 security deposit required for
move in.

About you:

Very clean; low-maintenance (1 bathroom = limited primping time!); no
smoking or drugs. You have your own life, but you want a friendly household
to come home to and housemates you enjoy talking to. You think notes and
email are fine for coordinating busy schedules, but other discussions are
best handled in person. You like cats.

About us:

39- and 40-year-old women. One works from home, the other works downtown. We
cook a lot, listen to music or NPR, read, bike, dance. We are eco-minded and
interested in sustainability - we have degrees in urban planning and
sustainable business. We like to keep things clean in the common areas. We
have a TV in theory, but no cable or converter box. We like to go out, and
we have friends over for dinner fairly frequently, but in general the
household is pretty quiet and mellow.
