SOCIAL: Help finding whether organization is solid or not

This actually sounds exactly like Landmark. We went to a free seminar with a friend and it was basically just a very high pressure sales pitch to sign up for the very expensive "Forum". At one point during the evening I got up to go to the bathroom which happened to be in the hallway that also led to the door to go outside. There was actually someone "standing gaurd" in the hallway who stopped me because they thought I was leaving. I was pretty creeped out. That being said, I do know people who have gotten a lot out of Landmark Forum. Just not my thing. Anyway, the wording on the poster and the veil of obscurity on the web site all seem very reminiscent of it.

It does seem a little suspicious. It sounds a lot like all those Get
Rich in Real Estate courses (hah!) where they would offer a "free"
seminar, that would really just be a high-pressure sales pitch for the
paid seminar. Some of the sources I Googled describe Kairos as an
outgrowth of EST, similar to The Landmark Forum.
