SOCIAL: Tech-Free Day (and acoustic bass guitar to borrow?)

Hi folks!

A friend of mine is hosting an event called Tech-Free day on Saturday, June 26. (See http://www.techfree day.org/ for info, and yes, she's aware of the irony of having a blog about going "tech-free"). The goal is to build community by unplugging yourself from your cell phone, laptop, etc. for 24 hours periodically (I think she does it once a month) and focusing on the people in the physical space around you.

She is sponsoring a picnic for this month's Tech-Free day, and my band, Making Dinner (http://makingdinnertheband.com/), will be playing an acoustic set at the picnic. The picnic is from 4-7pm, and we're playing at 5:00.  She's trying to make this as big of an event as it can be (even has sponsorship from BiRite and Good Vibrations), so please come and bring all your friends to build community with!

Details:
What: Tech-Free Day picnic
When: Sat, June 16, 4-7pm
Where: MacLaren Park (I'll send another email with the exact location in the park)
Making Dinner will play at 5:00!

Which brings me to the second part of my email. We will be playing unplugged and my instrument in the band is an electric bass. Does anyone have any ideas for where I can borrow either an acoustic bass guitar (1st preference) or a stand-up bass?  Any leads would be greatly appreciated!!!
