I Highly, highly recommend Mylea Charvat. She was actually a graduate student in my ex-wife's program and did this on the side, but don't let that fool you. She's very customer oriented, very diplomatic with everyone, including vendors, dealt with some immensely difficult personalities on both sides of the isle, and everything was choreographed like a ballet performance. Can't recommend her enough.

I don't know if she's still doing it, but I'll check in with her and get back to you.

We're looking for someone with wedding (not just events planning) experience. For the next month or two it won't be a lot of hours, but we will look to them to make suggestions and recommendations (not just take direction) to improve on the ideas and plans we've got. And they need to be comfortable with a non-standard not-much-run-of-the-mill type wedding & while they don't necessarily need to share them, they need to be able to understand our values (local over factory farmed, bikey over car, joy over image - that sorta thing - you know!)
